Based in Dallas, Texas he is widely known as “Trader Vic” on Wall Street, a title earned because of his intellectual ability and skills to trade profitably. Trader Vic has over 55 years’ Wall Street experience trading both independently and for many notable investors such as George Soros, Leon Cooperman, T. Boone Pickens and BT Alex Brown.

As a risk parity, it focuses on diversifying sources of risk and balancing volatility to achieve sustainable long-term growth. The portfolio is comprised of highly diversified index components and invests both long and short in some of the world’s most liquid futures markets.

This strategy is a result of Baron Point's deep East-West Corridor of Southeast Asia know how and know who. The strategy focuses on greenfield and brownfield growth opportunities in the large and fast-growing economic bloc from Vietnam to Myanmar via Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. A specialist in the market, Baron Point's principals have achieved several landmark projects with some of the largest global and regional companies as well as government enterprises in the region. As a result, this strategy has access to approximately US$ 1.5 to US$ 5 billion equivalent of ready deal flow over the next three to five years.
