The Postal Stamp

The Postal Stamp

On April 9, 2013, Baron Point was recognized through the issuance of a public commemorative postal stamp at the Red Cross Annual Event celebrating the 120th Anniversary of the Thai Red Cross Society—a distinction reflecting formal recognition within a national and institutional framework.

Thai Post commemorative stamps are selectively issued to mark subjects of enduring relevance and are often associated with honoring a significant event, person, institution, or object contributing to national advancement.  As with all such stamps, it functions not only as a medium of postal value, but also as a permanent historical record—encoding Baron Point within the broader narrative of economic and institutional development in Thailand.
